Bourses en humanités médicales à Swansea University

3 Year Visiting Fellowship in Medical Humanities at Swansea University

Call for applications

As part of the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions COFUND scheme, part of Horizon 2020, Swansea University has the opportunity to support a 3 year visiting post for an academic with 3-5 years postdoctoral experience who has not resided in the UK for more than 12 months in the last 3 years to work with our team of medical and disability historians. The scheme is intended primarily to support research in science, technology, medicine and engineering and the applied social sciences, but medical humanities is covered under the scheme's Life Sciences strand.

The application process is two-fold. First, interested applicants are asked to complete the attached Expression of Interest document and return it via ahlhub@swansea.ac.uk by Monday 4 January 2016. We will then select an applicant to go forward to develop a full application which will need to be submitted to the Welsh Assembly Government in March 2016. We will work with the applicant to produce this document. Funding is competitive and we are not guaranteed a fellowship. However, Swansea University, as part of its commitment to developing research in Medical Humanities in general and Disability History in particular, has agreed to support an application in this area.
