The Centre for Contemporary and Digital History (University of Luxembourg) has a job opening for a Post-doctoral position on project in 20th Century European History:

Post-doc in Contemporary European History (m/f)

Ref: I3-50010502
Fixed-term contract 3 years (with possibility of prolongation)
Full-time position (40h/week)
Employee status
Earliest starting date November: 1st, 2019

Your Role

– conduct a clear defined research project with a strong focus on
comparative, transnational or international history

– expand the international network of the C2DH

– raise third-party funds

– teaching at BA or MA level (60 hours a year)


Your Profile

– PhD in Contemporary History
– Very good track record of publications in relevant peer reviewed
journals
– Participation in collaborative and interdisciplinary research projects
– Experience in writing grant proposals
– Active knowledge in English and in either German or French

Further Information

Applicants are invited to apply online by presenting a research proposal
(3 to 5 years) on a self-selected topic with detailed work packages and
publication strategy (5 pages). The application should also contain:

– a curriculum vitae

– a teaching proposal (1 page)

– one article or book chapter

– two reference letters
