Manitoba – (N.) Ontario – Minnesota – Saskatchewan (MOMS) History of Medicine Conference
Northern Ontario School of Medicine University, West Campus (at Lakehead University, Thunder Bay, Canada)

The Northern Ontario School of Medicine University will host the 9th MOMS History of Medicine Conference on Friday 18 October (reception in evening), Saturday 19th October (conference, with dinner following), and Sunday, 20th (conference, concluding mid-day).
The conference, organized by members of six Universities, will provide faculty, students, postdoctoral fellows, and independent scholars the opportunity to present research papers in the field of history of medicine, broadly conceived. Submissions from all eras and regions of the world are welcomed, as are submissions on the history of health, disease and medicine from various disciplinary perspectives.


Individual and panel proposals (3-4 papers) are invited and will be peer reviewed. Please submit an abstract (no more than 300 words) and a one-page curriculum vitae with contact information to Drs. Geoffrey Hudson and Darrel Manitowabi, moms2024@icloud.com.

Deadline for submissions is May 30th, 2024. We hope to notify participants by mid-June.
