Médecine, art et science

Exploring the historical links between medicine, science, and art

Call for Contributions

Asclepio. Journal of the History of Medicine and Science - Special Issue

Asclepio. Revista de Historia de la Medicina y de la Ciencia was born in 1948 under the title Archivo Iberoamericano de Historia de la Medicina y Antropología Médica.

Asclepio publishes original papers on the history of science echoing the various historiographic trends in this field of study. It is particularly oriented to Spanish, European, and Latin American science, aiming to an audience specialized in the history of science, but also to variously educated scientists who may find in history elements for epistemological and social reflection in their scientific work.

Asclepio is covered by Web of Science: Arts & Humanities Citation Index (A&HCI), SCOPUS, PubMed, CWTS Leiden Ranking (Journal indicators), ERIH Plus, REDIB, DOAJ and other international databases of relevance.

We are now accepting contributions for a special issue on the historical links between science and art.

The papers must be unpublished and have a maximum of 8500 words, including text, images and footnotes. The rules for authors can be read on the journal's website:
