Papers, the abstracts of which have been accepted by the assessment committee (Abstract Submission),  can be presented at the conference (Conference Program). Papers can be on any topic relevant to medical history but we are particularly interested in the weave of people, places and perceptions in Antipodean health.Because of time constraints there is a restriction to one paper per primary author and on the total number of papers that can be accepted.

A limited amount of assistance is available for post graduate students of history (Student Application ).

Twenty minutes is permitted for the presentation of the paper, with up to ten minutes at the end of the presentation for questions and discussion. There will be a session chairman managing the presentations,Power Point facilities will be available.
Papers (on disc or usb stick) must be registered with the technician at the Audio-visual desk. This should be done no later than the start of the day the paper is being presented. Your paper and illustrations will be loaded onto the relevant room computer and be ready for your session.

Your paper, with your permission, will be published in the conference proceedings. This will be a digital publication and a copy will be available to all conference registrants. A suitable copy of your paper should preferably be given to the A-V desk before the conclusion of the conference ( e-Publication Guidelines).

We look forward to hearing from you.
