Les approches thérapeutiques

Swiss seminar in the history of medicine: therapeutic approaches

This is a Swiss-wide lecture series jointly organized by the chairs and institutes of the history of medicine/medical humanities at Bern, Fribourg, Geneva, Lausanne, and Zürich. This year’s theme engages with the long and varied history of medical remedies and therapeutics, ranging from early modern mineral waters and pharmaceutics to twentieth-century surgery and psychotherapy. The lectures rotate among the participating institutions; the exact locations (buildings, room numbers) will be communicated via newsletters and website of the Swiss Society for the History of Medicine and Science shortly before the respective events.
