Teaching the History of Medicine Call for Participants for a Proposed Roundtable at the OAH 2014.Seeking participants who teach the history of medicine for a roundtable discussion about goals, methods, and issues in history of medicine pedagogy. If you teach undergraduate or graduate courses in the history of medicine, and are interested in participating, please send me a short email that shares a bit about your courses and program, your goals, and some of the issues and questions that arise about the endeavor. We envision a roundtable in which participants will share teaching materials and pedagogical approaches, as well as to raise questions about the nature, purpose, and challenges of teaching the history of medicine to students across a range of disciplines. We will develop the questions and issues raised by the proposed roundtable based on the experience and interests of the participants.
